In 2021, Directors Stuart and Will started Refundee after seeing how unfairly victims of fraud were being treated by their banks. Despite doing nothing wrong, people were routinely being denied the recovery of their funds, with no transparent or trustworthy support to turn to.
It wasn’t right and it certainly wasn’t fair.
Having worked in financial services for many years, Stuart and Will knew the banks had obligations they were avoiding. So Refundee was their response: a highly experienced team of fraud recovery specialists, who know the regulations just as well as the banks do, but are entirely on the customers’ side.
Since then, we’ve helped over 6,000 clients recover more than £140 million from fraudulent schemes. And we’ll continue to help as many people as possible by always giving them the best chance to get their money back.
Our team combines financial services experience with specialist knowledge of fraud recovery and the claims process.
